The KHL

Provided that there will be 26 participants in the KHL in 2012/13 (with the return of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, the addition of HC SLOVAN Bratislava, and the apparent entry of Donbass Donetsk) and the league will be divided into two geographic conferences, where each team should play approximately 30 home matches. HC SLOVAN Bratislava will most likely be in the Western Conference, and either in the Tarasov or Bobrov division (with 6 and 7 teams in each division respectively). Against divisional rivals, teams will play each other four times, with each team playing two games home. Against the teams in the three remaining divisions, teams will play each other twice, with one game on home ice each. However, this has yet to be confirmed by the KHL, with the full announcement coming in early June. There may still be some changes to the divisional system.

Capacity of the Slovnaft Arena

The Slovnaft Arena has 10,059 seats when including the premium and disabled sectors. Approximately 9,000 tickets will be available on sale for each home game. A panoramatic view can be found here.

At the discretion of the owners of the stadium (The Town Hall of Bratislava), the original standing area will be moved from B1/B12 to sector B6 (The section in contact with B5). There will be a capacity of 250 fans.

The sectors behind the home goal (on the east side, in contact with the training rink) will be part of a special category called “Budget”, where seating will be 2-6 € cheaper compared to other sectors.

Visiting supporters will be transferred to Sector B11 (12th-16th rows, seats 13-34 on the right-hand side of the aisle)

The sector B9 is reserved for sponsors, media and advertising partners of the club.

HC SLOVAN Bratislava will attack in the same direction as last year, facing sector A1 in the first and third periods.
