HC SLOVAN Bratislava can today announce that they will not be retaining the services of defenceman Ján Tabaček.
The 33 year old defenceman joined HC SLOVAN in the summer of 2012 after four successful seasons with HC Košíce, where he was part of three Slovak Extraliga winning sides. In the KHL, as a part of HC SLOVAN, Tabaček picked up 11 points in 45 games in the 2012/13 season, but with the addition of Ján Brejčák and Martin Škoula in the offseason, the two parties have decided to go their separate ways.
The club would like to thank Ján Tabaček for his efforts last season in a HC SLOVAN Bratislava jersey, and would like to wish him good luck and success in the next chapter of his career.
