HC SLOVAN Bratislava are pleased to announce that defenceman Tomáš Mojžíš has signed a one year contract extension with the club, which will run until 30th April 2014.
The 30 year old defenceman came to HC SLOVAN in mid-January from KHL rivals HC Lev Praha, as injuries kept the Kolin native frustrated at a lack of playing time. However, Mojžíš has benefitted from the extra playing time with HC SLOVAN, and through eight matches the Czech defenceman has a goal and two assists, while averaging 18:31 minutes playing time each game.
Mojžíš has represented his country on many occasions, winning a World Championship gold medal in 2010, and being part of the bronze medal winning 2012 roster. Czech head coach Alois Hadamczik nominated Mojžíš to the recent Czech roster for the Oddset Hockey Games, which is part of the Euro Hockey Tour.
Both sides have agreed to the deal, with official confirmation from the league soon to follow.
