Marko Daňo is back in Bratislava after attending the newcomers’ camp in Columbus.
“I enjoyed the camp,” said Daňo of his time overseas. “The club took care of everything; it was all at a high standard – both in training and looking after the players. They even held meetings about social networks and cooking.”
This talented player only arrived home on Saturday, but by Monday he was already training under Rostislav Čado. “Today was tough. Training here is hard work, but that’s a good thing – it should be like that. I’m used to this level of training from last year,” said Daňo, who was greeted by all the players in the locker room. “I shook everyone by the hand – it’s a great group here. They ribbed me a bit,” he added with a smile. “They said an American had arrived, but it was all pretty mild.”
