For Jonathan Sigalet, spending Christmas without his family is difficult, but there are some positives to spending the holidays in Bratislava.
HC SLOVAN Bratislava defenceman Jonathan Sigalet will once again spend Christmas away from home. However, it’s the only holiday that he will have to spend without his family this year, as his wife visited for Thanksgiving earlier in the year. However, the Canadian defenceman will not be on his own for Christmas day, as his best friend on the team, Vladimir Mihálik, invited Sigalet to spending Christmas with him and his girlfriend, so he can experience a true Slovak Christmas. For Jonathan, it is New Year that he is looking forward to the most, as his brother will visit. Finally, Jonathan added a message for fans of HC SLOVAN Bratislava for the New Year: ‘Hopefully it will be a good year, hopefully we’ll be in the playoffs which will give them something to get excited about and make a run to give this building full of energy the way it’s been all year’.
